Measurements of Topping E30 II AKM4493s DAC L7 Audiolab
I have only tested the 30 sets (E30/L30) of Topping before , but I have not tested the E30 based on AKM4493. And with the fire at AKM’s Nobeoka Manufacturing Plant in 2020, I once thought that the E30 product line would usher in a change of chip manufacturers as the 4493 in stock was exhausted. However, just a few days ago, I received this E30 replacement product based on AK4493S: Topping E30II Since it was received with the L30 replacement product L30II, I took a group photo:
From the Datasheet, the THD+N of AK4493SEQ is nominally -115db and the THD+N of the original AK4493EQ is nominally -113db. As for the extent to which Toppin can do it? Let’s start measuring:

Summary: Exceeded the nominal datasheet (seems to be what it should be for Topping)
