The Musician Draco is a fully balanced, high end R2R DAC with high quality components. Versatile thanks to its complete connectivity, it can also work in NOS (Non Over Sampling) mode to avoid the artifacts that can be generated by oversampling.
An incredible balanced R2R DAC
The Musician Draco’s R2R architecture provides fast, high-quality decoding, combined with low digital noise for maximum distortion and extremely low noise floor. Combined with the specially developed Draco digital filters, the DAC is able to provide a dynamic, rich and natural sound reproduction.
A complete connectivity
The Musician Draco has a wide range of connectors to meet all needs and all types of integration. We thus find, on the digital inputs side, I2S via HDMI, USB-B, symmetrical AES, Coaxial and Optical Toslink. The output is, as desired, in unbalanced RCA or balanced XLR.
High-end components
Powerful, the Draco is able to process data quickly and efficiently, thanks to an Altera Cyclone FPGA and a high-performance ARM STM32F446 CPU.
Optimized linear power supply
The Musician Draco’s linear power supply stage features an O-Core transformer. The linear regulator effectively isolates the digital and analog parts to ensure low noise and stable voltage for the DAC.
