D90 III Discrete, like D90 III SABRE, is an iterative model of the previous flagship D90SE.
D90 III Discrete is a 1-bit DAC composed of discrete components.
It adopts the new self-developed PSRM Module, and the both channels are equipped with 16-elements PSRM modules.
While discrete components bring more different sounds, the unique PSRM module can achieve better performance than DAC chips, THD+N<0.00006%, SNR131dB, DNR130dB.
Like the previous D90, the D90 III Discrete has USB, Optical, Coaxial, AES, IIS, Bluetooth 5.1 input, RCA+balanced XLR output.
The difference in appearance from D90 III SABRE is that D90 III Discrete has a translucent window at the position of the PSRM module, so that users can directly see the PSRM module.
It is worth mentioning that the D90 III Discrete is equipped with the second-generation PEQ function of TOPPING.
All inputs except IIS support the ten-band PEQ function.
Users can adjust the frequency, gain and bandwidth of each PEQ band by themselves, which brings more fun.
It should be noted that the D90 III Discrete does not support MQA decoding.
