FX-AUDIO D802E FDA Amplifier STA326 Streamer WiFi DLNA Bluetooth 5.0 Multiroom 2x80W 4 Ohm

The E version of the FDA’s FX Audio D802 series now has WiFi (DLNA) connectivity to complement Bluetooth connectivity.

This ‘Full Digital’ Class D amplifier performs the basic functions of a complete audio system itself, such as source selection, reception and decoding of audio streams, volume control and power amplification.

It offers a lot of connectivity and customization options, which makes it compact. With bluetooth / wifi input, OTG compatible USB port, Toslink input, coaxial input and one additional analog RCA input, you can easily connect a computer / digital player, TV and CD with matching connectors at the same time.

After installation is complete, the system operates with the remote control (included) or through the front panel interface to select the active source and send the amplified signal to the speakers. WiFi, DLNA and Multiroom D802E now includes a Linkplay A3 module.

The latter offers a Wi-Fi connection specially designed for DLNA and Multiroom compatible audio.

This Wi-Fi DLNA connection offers similar functions to the network drive with the D802E, which can receive an audio stream from a simple app running on your smartphone / tablet. A broadband connection (802.11b / g / n with 300 Mbps bandwidth) enables audio streams up to 192 kHz / 24 bit. Finally, this feature does not apply to just one device as this use can be extended to a multi-room installation.

That is, you can install several D802Es, each connected to its own pair of passive speakers, and control them all from one connected device.

CM6642 Chip High Speed USB – Audio Class The CM6642 control chip can operate at resolutions up to 24 bit / 192 kHz.

This chip supports native audio codec decoding and has interesting features in terms of overall sound quality (THD + N ≥100dB @ 1kHz ≤0.005%) To facilitate installation and compatibility and avoid wasted software installation time, this amplifier does not require a driver. ..

The USB input is automatically recognized by all devices.

Including smartphones that are OTG ready.

MAX9722 Headphone Amplifier and AK4452 DAC Besides the fact that you can work with another D802E to get loud sound in multiple rooms, the latter is also a headphone amplifier.

which provides a high quality listening room for one person.

A headphone amplifier is available thanks to the MAX9722 Stereo Audio DirectDrive chip.

Differential inputs make this component a benchmark in FX-Audio devices, and most of its products use this chip as a headphone amplifier. The DAC only used for headphone output is the AKM 4452.

Powerful 32-bit DAC with 115dB SRV. This output is connected to a 6.35 mm gold-plated jack for a clear and crisp signal.

PCM1808 48 kHz / 24 bit ADC Few FDAs have an ADC chip (analog to digital) with a frequency higher than 44 kHz / 16 bit.

Usually the analog input is arbitrary and provides only the minimum requirements for arbitrary applications (e.g. a simple turntable or smartphone connection does not have the correct connections).

The analog input AUX (RCA) is far from arbitrary here as the PCM1808 ADC can sample a 48 kHz / 24-bit signal.

This means that the analog input gets a higher resolution than CD quality from a decent analog signal. The PCM1808 chip operates with a signal-to-noise ratio of 99dB and a THD + N of -93dB. While analog signal processing remains a secondary function, as in any all-digital amplifier, the D802E nonetheless offers a headphone output that goes far beyond what the market has to offer.
