The Grado Prestige 3 Blue is a high performance standard moving magnet (MM) phono cartridge offering higher performance than the Prestige 3 Black/Green cartridges.

Redesigned Build

The Prestige 3 Blue uses a four piece OTL cantilever (compared to the Black and Green which only use three piece variations), oxygen free wire in the coils and Grado’s specially designed elliptical diamond mounted in a brass bushing.

4 Piece OTL

The Prestige 3 blue’s four piece optimised transmission line provides a detailed transfer of audio signal from the LP to the system. The design rejects resonances and lowers distortion levels to preserve the harmonic frequencies.

Passed Down Qualities

With the improvement of the higher-end cartridges, Grado have implemented some their high quality innovations down to the Blue series to offer better tonal balance and dynamics for the cartridge.

Such technology is the addition of ultra high purity copper wire which features in the Lineage Series. It allows the electrical circuits achieve unison between the four coils in each phono cartridge for a precise balance between channels and accurate stereo imaging.
