Grado Prestige 3 Green MM Phono Cartridge uses a three-piece OTL cantilever with an exclusive diamond mounted stylus on a brass bushing. The Prestige Green3’s are selected from the Black3 production runs that meet higher test specifications. Approximately 15% of the run usually exhibits these specs and become the Prestige 3 Green.

Optimised Transmission Line

Grado’s optimised transmission line (OTL) technology has been developed to reject unwanted resonances and lower distortion levels to achieve the fundamental and harmonic frequencies of the music. This makes records sound quieter, expands the soundstage and reveals more detail in your music, unlike on previous models.

Hand Crafted and Hand Picked

The Prestige 3 Green Cartridges are all hand-assembled by Grado’s team in Brooklyn, where some of the builders possess over 25 years of experience.

Trickle-Down Technology

With the development of Grado’s well-acclaimed Lineage cartridge series, Grado was able to trickle down technology and bring new techniques to the Prestige 3 Green. This upgraded series of cartridges now offer an improved tonal balance, better dynamics, and a more musicality.

One of the passed down techniques is the use of ultra-high purity copper wire, which lets the electrical circuits achieve unison between the four coils in each phono cartridge, for a more precise balance between channels and a more accurate stereo imaging.

Twin Magnet System

The Prestige Green3 is powered by a twin magnet system that improves the balance between stereo channels. All internal magnetic circuit parts are held to extremely high tolerances, which creates a desired stereo image. This works alongside Grado’s patented Flux-Bridger design, which delivers a low effective moving mass and also achieves an excellent balance throughout the full frequency range.
