Grado Prestige 3 Silver is an MM cartridge, designed to offer high resolution and accurate detail. It uses a four-piece OTL cantilever design, ultra-high purity long crystal oxygen free copper wire and specially designed elliptical diamond mounted on a brass bushing.

Prestige 3 Silver Design

Grado’s Prestige Silver3 uses a four-piece OTL cantilever design, which makes records sound quieter and improves the soundstage to present more detail. This is combined with a Grado specific elliptical diamond stylus mounted on a brass bushing. Unlike, Grado’s other models, a machined turned generator is used to produce lower distortion levels and greater transparency.

Trickle Down Technology

With the development of Grado’s highly spec’d Lineage cartridge series, advanced technology has been passed down and implemented into the Prestige Silver 3.

Accurate Stereo Imaging

Grado’s coil winding techniques, which consist of ultra high purity copper wire that was used in the Lineage Series, allow the electrical circuits to achieve unison between the four coils in each phono cartridge to make for a precise balance between channels and improved accuracy on the stereo imaging.

Twin Magnet System

The Prestige 3 Silver is powered by a twin magnet system that maximises the balance between stereo channels. The Flux-Bridger design creates a low effective moving mass generating system whilst also creating an excellent balance throughout the full frequency range.
