The Hidizs S8 is an extremely compact and lightweight portable amplifier and DAC combo, to take with you wherever you go or to use with your computer to enjoy excellent listening quality.
CS43131 Converter
The digital to analog conversion of the Hidizs S8 is ensured by a DAC CS43131 chip, allowing a quality decoding, promoting a faithful and precise audio reproduction. The performance of this is excellent with a dynamic range of 120dB, a signal-to-noise ratio of 120dB and a THD+N of 0.002% (1kHz), while maintaining low power consumption for stable playback.
This chip also supports high quality audio files with PCM sample rates up to 32bit 384kHz and up to DSD256.
Volume control
The Hidizs S8 features a two-button volume control on its shell. This volume level adjustment takes advantage of a smooth progression curve for precise adjustment.
Robust housing
The components of the Hidizs S8 are hidden under a CNC-machined Aliuminium unibody shell, giving it both an elegant design and great robustness suitable for all your travels.
Impedance detection
The S8 automatically detects the impedance of your headphones to adjust the output level. It is capable of delivering an output level of up to 2Vrms in stereo.
It is necessary to first connect your headphones or earphones to the S8 and then connect the S8 to your audio device for the S8 to be recognized.
Hiby App
The Hidizs S8 is compatible with the Hiby high-fidelity playback application. This application allows you to play high-resolution files on your smartphone while enjoying advanced features such as the MSEB mixing console that allows you to adapt the playback to your listening.
