Beschrijving

Sanskrit pro-B is a decoder with a variety of input methods, excellent performance, small size and hard-dissolved DSD, which can meet the dual needs of high-quality audio playback and convenience on the desktop.

In design, Sanskrit pro-B can achieve the hard solution of DSD, which is mainly due to the experience of Shuangmu Sanlin’s audio production experience and the organic combination of CM6632A and AK4490EQ.

Sanskrit pro-B’s USB asynchronous transmission scheme is not the XMOS or CM6631 used in the market.

Instead, the CM6632A is a powerful chip that can realize high-speed transmission of native DSD digital streams as a receiving chip, and the decoding core of Sanskrit pro-B.

It adopts AKM’s new audio chip AK4490EQ, supports PCM32bit/384kHz and DSD128 (new batch of Bluetooth version supports DSD512) decoding, CM6632A + AK4490EQ combination, and realizes perfect solution of DSD transmission and hard solution on PC HIFI.

The DAC chip AK4490EQ is a new product of AKM.

The high-end audio chip of the “VELVET SOUND” series has measured its dynamic range beyond 112dB of BB’s flagship chip PCM1704UK, reaching 118dB. The dynamic range indicator can be said to be the most important indicator of the DAC.

It fully reflects the ability of the DAC to restore small signals and display more music information.

At the same time, the clarity, overtone and consistency of the sound are greatly improved.

In order to make the Sanskrit pro sound performance more perfect, Shuangmu Sanlin used a high-cost, extremely complex 4-layer gold-plated PCB, which does not cost the Vishay MELF resistor, WIMA, ELNA audio capacitors and other ultra-high-quality audio components.

In order to make the Sanskrit pro-B sound very moist, very musical, sound details and extensions are very abundant!

Although the Sanskrit pro-B is a high-performance decoder, its appearance is very small and mini.

The Sanskrit pro-B rear panel has integrated USB, fiber optic and coaxial inputs and analog outputs, while the Sanskrit pro-B’s front panel has four panels in addition to the entire Alec panel and one power switch button.

The indicators used to identify the current digital input mode represent “Bluetooth”, “USB”, “Fiber” and “Coaxial” respectively. Different digital input mode indicators will also change accordingly, which is very intuitive.

SMSL Sanskrit Pro review by Qobuz

” This is certainly a DAC that lacks virtually nothing in format decoding capabilities, even if food for some of them remains very scarce.

In addition, it is compatible with smartphones and tablets running Android and iOS and offers very good sound results.

All this in a pretty and discreet little box at a price affordable to a large number of amateurs, who will complain about it? “
