High fidelity and power
The SMSL sAp-10 is a symmetrical headphone amplifier in an aluminum case with a very elegant bevelled front. Powerful and precise with two Texas Instruments TPA6120A2 chips, it provides a real easy-to-use solution with symmetrical and unbalanced input, power button, and volume control on the front panel. It will allow you to drive easily high-end headphones
The two circuits (Symmetrical and Asymmetrical) of this headphone amplifier are completely independentwhich further reduces distortion and possible noise. Every detail has been conceived with the aim of offering a very high quality device at the lowest possible price. As evidenced by its all gold-plated and resistant in time.
An audiophile quality design
This sAp-10 has a TRIAD transformer from the USA, designed to be efficient and vibration-free. The capacitors Nichicon 33000uF audiophiles are used to filter the circuit, coupled with other PANASONIC capacitors to prevent loss or degradation of the audio signal.
The volume control chip is a well known NJW1195 for its very low distortion and to respect in all points the separation of the two channels for the balanced outputand asymmetrical output. You have a resistance switch attenuator driven by a truly high-end rotary encoder.
SMSLsAp-10 indicates its status via the only LED on the device (Façade): blue LED when non-symmetrical input is active, purple LED when balanced input is active, red LED when the device is on to go out.
